The Master Web-Evolution platform was the base technology selected by Xerox Portugal for the development of a new system to manage the supplier invoice approval process.

The solution based on Master Web-Evolution (MWE) technology, in addition to introducing significant benefits in terms of accountability, KPI management indicators, and reporting—as it allows Xerox finance department managers to know, at any given moment, the exact number of invoices being processed, where, with whom, for how long, and in which approval flows—will also allow Xerox to manage the process in a simpler, faster, decentralized, and controllable way (avoiding errors and delays). The system was also integrated with the Document Management system used by Xerox.

The project manager at Xerox, Eng. José Rui Lopes, explained that they opted for the Master Web-Evolution platform after analyzing several alternatives, “this solution stood out because it supported most of the requirements natively and because the possibility and ease of implementing the remaining requirements were demonstrated. The Masterlink platform and the technical capacity shown were fundamental in reducing implementation time, contributing decisively to the successful completion of the project.”

At the end of last year, Masterlink announced a new strategy, more focused on the private sector, namely large companies, an option that is already beginning to bear fruit.

Given the growth recorded in recent months, Masterlink has decided to extend the selection process for strategic and technological partners who wish to ensure the implementation of projects identified by Masterlink.
