The national process for placing doctors, overseen by the Central Administration of the Health System (ACSS), allows healthcare professionals to apply to ongoing competitions.
The automatic ranking process takes into account the healthcare professional’s overall evaluation. Once the order in which candidates are ranked for the competition they are applying to has been determined, the platform relies on a set of optimized algorithms to determine which institutions the doctors are placed in.
Masterlink was involved in the entire development process of the application for recruiting specialist doctors. This platform also includes the validation of applications, a process carried out through a multi-step data flow, up to the stage where accepted applications allow candidates to choose the institutions they are applying to, as well as the priority they assign to each one.
After this step, and once the deadline for selecting institutions associated with the competition has passed, the software determines the order in which candidates are ranked in the competition, and, with that, which institution each one will be placed in.
The process also automatically sends emails to all candidates: those placed, those not placed, and those whose applications were rejected. For this purpose, and per competition, platform administrators can decide which messages are included in the email and which files should be attached.
This platform was developed in under a month to cover a single competition, and was quickly adapted to accommodate an unlimited number of competitions. This flexibility was only possible thanks to the Masterlink Platform.
