The European Federation for Welding is responsible for the qualification and certification of welders. Present in dozens of countries and with over 40 years of existence, it provides courses aimed at qualifying welders worldwide. Masterlink was involved in this project to completely redesign the EWF portal, both aesthetically and structurally. Naturally, given the execution timelines involved, MWE technology was chosen to underpin this project, thereby granting EWF staff full future autonomy to manage the portal and adapt content at any time. With appropriate training, EWF members will be fully autonomous in creating new pages, content, and projects, without requiring intervention from Masterlink.
In this project, user management is integrated, allowing portal administrators to dynamically define access profiles across different levels of information (for example, portal administrators can edit content, pages, and even member information).
One innovation is the members’ area itself, which features a map-style visualization with dynamic management of each member’s content.
For auditing purposes, any changes to company and member data will be recorded in a history log. The choice of MWE technology allows for the creation of services tailored to its members, ensuring project scalability without time penalties or additional costs. This project also includes the migration of information and content.
