On March 5, at an event held in Lisbon, the Secretary of State for Digital Transition, André de Aragão Azevedo, presented the Digital Transition Action Plan, approved at the Council of Ministers meeting. Pedro Siza Vieira, Minister of State for the Economy and Digital Transition, stated that Portugal “must view the digital transformation of society and the economy as a true strategic challenge.” The Minister also emphasized how important it is to provide people and businesses with the necessary tools to benefit from digital technology.
