Masterlink addresses the relationship between European Incentive Projects and Digital Transition

This Tuesday, May 14, another edition of Mastercoffee took place, the event where Masterlink brings together partners and companies to address the best practices in the world of Digital Transition. The main theme of this meeting was “Digital Transition: how can European funds help?”, featuring several enriching presentations on how investments from the European Community can help companies accelerate their technological capacity-building, as well as the role that the Masterlink Platform can play in the digital transition.

European funding for digitalization: PRR and Portugal 2030

The event began with a session by Orlando Martins, head of Top Inov, who was introduced to the audience by Paulo Pereira, Executive Director of noLimits, a Masterlink partner consultancy that aims to support organizations and their management teams in leveraging business through the most appropriate technology.

The session focused primarily on the funding opportunities available through Portugal 2030 and the PRR, and how companies can take advantage of these funds to accelerate their digital transformation. “Technology is an enabler, a business accelerator, giving companies more time to effectively execute what is intended in a European project,” points out Orlando Martins. “Portugal is having difficulty executing projects, which also creates an opportunity for companies that effectively want to take advantage of them,” says the executive, warning: “We will see a drastic reduction in community investment from 2030, possibly due to support for Eastern European countries that joined the European Community and also to help in the reconstruction of Ukraine, so companies now have 6 years to accelerate the use of community investments.”

Investment in the Masterlink Platform “is included, for example, in the PRR projects opening in May, namely with projects such as Internationalization via Ecommerce and Coaching 4.0, which offer partially non-repayable funding to make companies more competitive in the digital world.”

The speaker further adds that: “Portugal 2030, in turn, will present three thematic programs, one of which is precisely Innovation and Digital Transition, with the Digital Transition in SMEs program, whose project opening is scheduled for September, and in which investment in the Masterlink Platform will also be covered.”

In addition to these projects, Orlando Martins also spoke about other projects within the Digital Transition universe, such as SME Qualification (opening at the end of May, with a 50% non-repayable incentive).

How no-code accelerates the digital transition

This was followed by a presentation from Nuno Rosa, Marketing and Operations Director at Masterlink, who captured the audience’s attention with the presentation “Masterlink: technology for Digital Transition.” Nuno Rosa explained how Masterlink is implementing advanced technological solutions to meet the demands of the digital transition and also help empower company workforces so they can assist in technological innovation.

Following the main theme of Mastercoffee, the executive addressed how companies can leverage European funds to accelerate and facilitate the digital transition through Masterlink technology. “The Masterlink Platform helps achieve the digital transition because, immediately upon contracting the solution, it is ready to be used, and the company can embark on the journey of process and business improvement, which is the main goal of European investments.”

Nuno Rosa further added that “the fact that it is a no-code platform makes it geared toward non-technical users, which also makes it easier to find people who can deliver quality projects, or even leverage existing resources within the company who have greater knowledge of it, to bring projects to a successful conclusion.”

The AWS vision

Next was Francisco Chaves, head of partners for AWS in Portugal, who shared insights on the successful collaboration between AWS and Masterlink, highlighting how this partnership has been fundamental to the development of robust and efficient solutions that support the digital transition.

Conclusions

Mastercoffee not only reiterated the importance of European funding in digitalization but also highlighted Masterlink’s position as an influential player in the digital transition. The company continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence and technological leadership while supporting its clients and partners in navigating today’s complex digital landscape.
